Overview
P&O Cruises is (read: was*) a leading cruise line company, renowned for offering exceptional ocean journeys to some of the world’s most iconic destinations. Each year, P&O Cruises continued to redefine the luxury cruise experience, both onboard the ship and digitally. Unfortunately, midway through this project, P&O Cruises faced significant challenges as their parent company merged its offerings into an existing entity, effectively causing the brand to "sink."


Challenge
Our team's primary focus was on redesigning the booking flow to create a more seamless, intuitive process for users. We aimed to streamline the experience and introduce personalised customisation options, allowing users to tailor their cruising journey, including shore excursions, dining, and onboard activities. By optimising the flow, we sought to make the planning process more engaging and user-friendly, guiding guests smoothly from inspiration to booking.


Outcome
The outcome of the project was a redesigned booking flow that significantly improved the user experience, making it more seamless and intuitive. By streamlining the process and introducing personalised customisation options, users could easily tailor their cruise experience, from shore excursions to dining and onboard activities. The optimized flow enhanced engagement, enabling guests to move effortlessly from inspiration to booking, ultimately delivering a more user-friendly and satisfying planning experience.
